Museum of Milan’s San Eustorgio Church.
*first known picture of a Christian worshiping God with hands raised.
*these bones are the remains of a Christian killed in the arena in Milan.
Sant Eustorgio was built around 350 AD where little streams used to run across a field. Paul sent Barnabus to this city, and apparently he baptized new believers in those streams. Later Christians were buried there because it was outside of the city walls (the cemetery was only discovered below the church 50 years ago).
This church is where we go every Wednesday night to help with Alpha Course.
