This week it’ s been great, God gave us a big shake.
The teaching started with THE FEAR OF GOD, I must say that usually it’s not what we think. So what is this fear of God ?
I think that when people hear FEAR OF GOD: they think “ooooo” God is scary, and we must be afraid of Him. So ARE YOU AFRAID OF GOD !!!!?????
I think we can’t understand the fear of God, until we understand the love of God.
God loves us, and he wants to give us the right direction, that he chose for us.
Actually the fear of god is following His will , and I can confirm that, if we live under His will it’s so much better even for us . So WHY DO WE CALL IT FEAR ?
I think that the fears come from the Devil, what we usually fear is men ( what people think about us ), fear of the future ( how I will make it to the end of the month) and we have so many fears that block us from obeying God. Proverbs 29:25 says FEAR OF MEN WILL PROVE TO BE A SNARE, BUT WHOEVER TRUSTS IN THE LORD IS KEPT SAFE.
Our God is so great and He really wants the best for us, the fact is that most of the time we are more worried about our fears than we are about disappointing God .
WE MUST FEAR HIM FOR OUR OWN GOOD !!!!
